How it Works
Installation
STRONGDEK™ can be installed on top of any existing substrate suitable for a deck. Components can be cut using traditional carpenter’s tools fitted with a non-toothed diamond or carbide grit blade.
- Cut plank and cap to desired length.
- Fasten plank to substrate at each joist through the integrated grooves on the plank’s edges.
- Apply a small amount of construction adhesive on the plank, at the approximate center and at each end of where cap will be snapped on.
- Hook one edge of cap over the edge of plank, then tap the other edge into place using a non-marring mallet.

Maintenance
A deck built with STRONGDEK™ should require minimal maintenance. If your deck needs to be cleaned, use warm, soapy water and a soft bristle brush to remove dirt and debris, and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Pressure washing is not recommended.
